Hello Everyone!

I will be participating in the 4th Annual Highlands Invitational Golf, Walk & 5K/8K Run to raise much needed funds, for my school.

I have been blessed to teach Kindergarten at Highlands Christian Schools for the last 8 years. It has been a blessing to see my students grow and flourish and work to their potential. Each year brings it's uniqueness.

I have been entrusted with 24 students this year. They are the most energetic, curious, enthusiast and social group I have encountered. They have so much to say and things they want to do, it's amazing! This page I'm setting up, is for them. They are just beginning their academic lives. They are full of life and possibilities. I want to provide them with opportunities and have a part in their future here at Highlands. The funds that we raise will go towards funding tuition aid, a sports field and extended field trips.

We all know the state of our economy and private school has become a significant luxury. My student's parents sacrifice so that their child can have a quality education through Christian teaching. The money we raise as a team will go a long way in helping my students, who would be blessed from the tuition aid program.

At the moment the kids' playground is a parking lot. We do what we can with what we have, but we want more for our students. We want to build a sports field. We want our kids to run free on grass instead of asphalt.

The extended trips are taken by the middle schoolers. These trips are designed for education, fellowship and more importantly growth amongst each other, teachers and God. Every time these kids come back they are new people. They come back refreshed and refocused. 

All of these things are so important for our kids. We want better things, better experiences,  a better school experience. We can't do it alone, we need your help! The only way these programs work if there are funds. This is where you come in! 

My goal is to raise $1,000 in personal sponsorships through friends and family.  This is an aggressive commitment, I know! But I believe we can do it with your help and support. Your donation will help touch kids and their families' lives forever!
